Drone Services Program

Our Drone Services program supports projects in all of our departments, for member jurisdictions, and for partner organizations.  The program includes drones (Matrice 210 V2, DJI Phantom 4 Pro+, and a Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual), FAA licensed operators, a tracking and reporting system, data collection, and processing/editing of data collected.  Learn more.

During a public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Rogue Valley Council of Governments held on April 24, 2019, the Budget Committee voted to recommend the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, to the RVCOG Board of Directors. A budget hearing will be held on June 26, 2019, at 12:00 pm in the Rogue Valley Council of Governments’ office. The Board of Directors will be asked to approve the budget at the close of the hearing.  The Board of Directors will also be asked to discuss and approve a supplemental budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018.

The budget hearing is open to the public. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Board of Directors. A copy of the approved and supplemental budgets may be inspected or obtained at Rogue Valley Council of Governments between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm or by clicking to download a PDF copy:  July 1, 2019, Approved, July 1, 2018, Supplemental.  Budget Committee Meeting Minutes are available here.

Rogue Valley Council of Governments (RVCOG) is a voluntary association of 23 local jurisdictions, special districts, and education institutions in southwestern Oregon’s Jackson and Josephine Counties. Its primary focus is to support local and regional problem solving.
