NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING – April 25, 2018

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND BUDGET HEARING – May 23, 2018

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Rogue Valley Council of Governments, State of Oregon, to review and discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019, will be held in the Rogue Valley Council of Governments’ office on April 25, 2018, at 1:30 pm.  At this meeting the Budget Committee will be asked to recommend the proposed budget to the RVCOG Board of Directors.

Should the Budget Committee vote to recommend the proposed budget to the RVCOG Board of Directors, a budget hearing will be held on May 23, 2018, at 12:00 pm in the Rogue Valley Council of Governments’ office.  The Board of Directors will be asked to approve the budget at the close of the hearing.

Both meetings are public.  Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee or the Board of Directors.  A copy of the proposed budget may be inspected or obtained on or after April 23, 2018, at Rogue Valley Council of Governments between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Rogue Valley Council of Governments (RVCOG) is a voluntary association of 23 local jurisdictions, special districts, and education institutions in southwestern Oregon’s Jackson and Josephine Counties. Its primary focus is to support local and regional problem solving.

RVCOG Drone Program

RVCOG established a Drone Services program in January 2018 to support projects in all of our departments, for member jurisdictions, and for partner organizations.  The program includes a drone (DJI Phantom 4 Pro+), FAA licensed operators, a tracking and reporting system, data collection, and processing/editing of data collected.  To learn more about the program, click on the link here.
